The Dehiwala National Zoo has reported the disappearance of its only yellow anaconda, prompting a police complaint and an internal investigation by the Department of Zoological Gardens.
Director General Dr. R.C. Rajapaksha told the media that the incident was brought to their attention yesterday after it was discovered that the snake was missing.
