Elon Musk has claimed that his social media platform, X, was hit by a “massive cyberattack” after a major outage left tens of thousands of users unable to access their accounts.
According to Downdetector.com, complaints about the outage spiked on Monday at 10:00 and 14:00 GMT, with more than 40,000 users affected.
Musk stated on X that while the platform faces attacks daily, this particular incident was carried out with significant resources by a “large, coordinated group and/or a country.”
However, he did not provide evidence to support his claim.
