Yesterday (19th), an attempted kidnapping took place involving a student from Caulfield Grammar School in Melbourne.
The student was waiting near a bus stop when an unknown individual arrived in a black car and reportedly urged the child to get inside.
However, the student refused and avoided the potential danger.
The school administration promptly informed the child’s parents about the incident.
Several similar kidnapping attempts were reported in the latter half of last year.
Notably, four children aged 10 to 15 were targeted in the areas of Tullamarine, Blackburn, and Boronia.
Additionally, last December, two Grade 6 students from another Melbourne school also faced a similar situation.
