A 39-year-old suspect wanted for drug trafficking and facing open court warrants has been arrested in the Kalutara North area.
The arrest was made during a raid by the Kalutara Range Crime Division in the Fonseka Road area.
Police found 110 grams of heroin, 101 grams of crystal methamphetamine (ICE), and Rs. 750,000 in cash suspected to be proceeds from drug trafficking in the suspect’s possession.
Further investigations revealed that the suspect has pending cases in both the Kalutara High Court and the Magistrate’s Court, with inquiries ongoing.
