Virgin Australia has confirmed that it will allow passengers to bring pets on flights in the future.
The airline had reportedly made a similar announcement last year and is currently conducting trials to accommodate pets on its planes.
Previously, they estimated that obtaining the necessary approvals would take about a year.
However, a spokesperson has now stated that the process will take longer than expected.
This decision is significant for Australians, as over 70% of households in the country have pets.
