The Kentbruck Green Power Hub is being developed by the company Neoen.
In response to these concerns, Neoen emphasizes that the wind turbines, which stand at a height of about 270 meters, are not harmful to wildlife, including birds.
The construction of the proposed wind farm is estimated to cost approximately $1.2 billion.
Although the consultation period for the project was set to conclude today (11th of March ), it has been extended until 31st of March.
The Victorian Planning Board decided to extend the consultation period due to the addition of new updates to the project’s environmental report.
