Victoria secures multi-million dollar government investment

The Albanese government has prioritized road development in Victoria, announcing a $41.75 million investment for upgrades on Thompson’s Road in Clyde North.

The project will improve the existing roundabout, traffic signals, lanes, and bus routes to ease congestion and enhance traffic flow.

According to the federal government, these upgrades will reduce heavy traffic, boost safety, and improve freight productivity on the route from Melbourne’s southeast.

Additionally, the project will introduce new pedestrian lanes, upgraded bus stops, and dedicated bike lanes to enhance accessibility.

This initiative is jointly funded by the Albanese Government and the Allan Labor Government, with the Victorian Government already contributing to its development.
