Acting Chief Police Commissioner Rick Nugent has revealed that several reforms will be introduced in the Victoria State Police Department.
He made these comments during his first press conference after assuming the role.
Nugent emphasized that one of the key priorities would be amending bail laws, particularly in the state of Victoria.
Additionally, he shared that he had met with former State Police Chief Shane Patton, who resigned yesterday, and expressed gratitude for Patton’s dedicated service to the Police Department.
