Victoria Police is offering a $1 million reward for information that leads to the resolution of the 1998 murder of Gianni “John” Furlan, who died 27 years ago in North Melbourne.
Furlan, 48 years old at the time, was killed when his car exploded in North Coburg on 3rd of August 1998. Investigations later revealed that the vehicle had been rigged with explosives. Despite extensive inquiries, no charges have been filed in connection with the case.
