He reached his hundred in spectacular fashion, pulling Rashid Khan for six to complete the second-fastest century in IPL history—and the fastest by an Indian—off just 35 balls.
The young left-hander hammered seven fours and 11 sixes before being bowled for a breathtaking 101 off 38 balls, leading the Royals to a dominant eight-wicket win over Gujarat Titans.
Suryavanshi, who turned 14 only last month, was signed for INR 1.1 crore at last year’s IPL auction and is now the youngest player ever to play in the tournament.
