The USA have completed the 16-team line-up for the ICC U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup 2026, becoming the final side to qualify for the tournament to be held in Zimbabwe and Namibia.

Led by wicketkeeper-batter Arjun Mahesh, the American team dominated the double round-robin Qualifier on home soil in Rydal, Georgia, and secured their place with a game to spare before facing Canada on 16 August.

How qualification was decided
The top 10 teams from the 2024 edition in South Africa earned automatic entry into the 2026 tournament, along with Full Member hosts Zimbabwe.

The remaining five places were determined through regional qualifiers held across the globe, beginning with Division 2 competitions and feeding into Division 1 events in 2025.

Teams qualified
The confirmed 16 teams are: Zimbabwe, Australia, Bangladesh, England, India, Ireland, Pakistan, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, South Africa, West Indies, and from the regional qualifiers, USA along with four other teams.

The 2026 edition promises to showcase the rising stars of world cricket when Namibia and Zimbabwe co-host the prestigious youth tournament.
