Two men were injured in a home invasion in Melbourne, after a group of offenders broke into a residence in the suburb of Greenvale late at night.
Police said the incident occurred just before midnight on Sterling Close, where several men entered the home and stabbed two occupants, aged 48 and 35.
Both victims were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspects, believed to be in their early 20s, were dressed in dark clothing and fled the scene in a dark-coloured SUV. They remain at large.
Authorities are continuing investigations to determine the motive behind the attack, including whether the victims and suspects were known to each other.
Police have urged anyone with information, including dashcam or CCTV footage, to come forward and assist with the investigation.
