
Two people have died after a freight train collided with a ute in regional Victoria. The incident occurred just after 10 a.m. at a railway crossing on Reddies Road in Cressy, about 40 km north of Colac.
The two occupants of the ute, who have not yet been formally identified, were pronounced dead at the scene. The train, which had only the driver and two staff members onboard, was not reported to have caused any injuries.
