
The Bureau of Meteorology has announced that the tropical cyclone affecting Western Australia will continue until today.
In addition to the cyclone, an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.8 occurred in Meckering, Western Australia.
The cyclone, named Sean, has intensified and is now classified as a Category 3 storm as of this morning.
Winds, which were previously blowing at 150 km per hour, have now increased to 205 km per hour.
As a result, warnings remain in effect for the Onslow, Exmouth, and Mardie to Ningaloo areas.
Residents in these regions are advised to stay in safe locations and monitor weather updates.
Additionally, people living near dams in the southeastern region of Queensland have been warned to exercise caution due to heavy rainfall.
