Three designated access routes have been announced for devotees attending the Sri Dalada Vandana pilgrimage, which begins on the 18th of this month.
The first entry route starts from D.S. Senanayake Street (Trincomalee Street side) and leads directly to the entrance of the Sri Dalada Maligawa.
The second path begins at the Red Bridge area (Rathu Bokkuwa), continues along Sangharaja Mawatha around Kandy Lake, and reaches the main entrance of the temple.
The third route also originates from the Red Bridge area, goes around the Maligawa premises by the lake, and connects to the temple’s main entrance.
Authorities have confirmed that devotees can use any of these designated paths to reach the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic during the Dalada Vandana.
