Thousands locked Out of internet banking amid NAB outage

Thousands of National Australia Bank (NAB) customers have been unable to access internet banking due to a widespread outage.

The issue appears to affect customers attempting to log in via the bank’s website on both desktop and mobile devices.

A notice on NAB’s website confirmed that “internet banking isn’t working at the moment,” adding, “We’re sorry and are doing everything we can to get it back up and running.”

The bank assured customers that the NAB app and Telephone Banking services remain operational.

Outage-tracking website Down Detector recorded a sharp spike in user reports from around 11 a.m., indicating the scale of the disruption.

NAB’s banking app continues to function normally, while media has contacted the bank for further comment.
