Telstra has confirmed that it is continuing to monitor and investigate an outage that affected thousands of customers across its Bigpond and Webmail services.
The issue began around 2 p.m. AEST yesterday, disrupting email logins and access through some third-party apps.
By early this morning, Telstra announced via social media that Telstra Mail was back online, but acknowledged that some users still faced difficulties, particularly when using third-party email apps.
“We’ve seen that some customers are still facing issues accessing Telstra Mail. Our team’s continuing to monitor and investigate,” the company stated in a post on X.
Telstra advised users to try resetting their passwords and accessing their accounts via webmail as an initial troubleshooting step.
The company added that customers needing further assistance can contact support through the My Telstra app, website, or by phone.
