
A 16-year-old pedestrian is fighting for his life after being struck by a car in Melbourne’s south-east on Saturday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to Pound Road in Narre Warren South around 4.30 p.m. following reports of a serious collision.
The teenager was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries, while specialist air ambulance and mobile intensive care paramedics provided advanced treatment at the scene.
The female driver of the vehicle crashed into a tree and is currently being assessed by medical teams.
Police said the exact circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear, and investigations are ongoing.
