A recent survey has found that men in Australia are still not contributing equally to household chores.
Researchers indicate that Australian women take on more household responsibilities than men.
The data shows that women work two hours more than men across all types of labor, including paid work, childcare, and home management.
Additionally, more women are now in full-time employment compared to 20 years ago.
Professor Wilkins, co-director of the study, emphasized that it is time to distribute household duties more fairly.
The survey also revealed that while men spend 5.5 hours per week caring for loved ones, women dedicate 10.7 hours to the same tasks.
