Uruwarige Vannila Aththa, the revered leader of Sri Lanka’s indigenous Vedda community, arrived in Colombo today from Dubai aboard SriLankan Airlines flight UL 226.
He was warmly received by SriLankan Airlines, who extended a respectful and honorable welcome in recognition of his cultural significance.
The airline emphasized that Vannila Aththa’s leadership symbolizes the deep-rooted heritage and identity of the Sri Lankan nation.
SriLankan Airlines also expressed heartfelt gratitude to him for choosing the national carrier for his travel.
