The Prime Minister highlighted that 2024 has been a transformative year, with a strong commitment to unity and progress, focusing on uplifting the nation’s economy, industry, and education.
She stressed the government’s vision to create a future where every Sri Lankan can live a peaceful, dignified life, free from divisions of race, gender, ethnicity, or religion.
Reflecting on past missed opportunities for national unity, Dr. Amarasuriya emphasized the importance of not letting this current opportunity slip away and working together for the country’s future.
Acknowledging the challenges ahead, the Prime Minister expressed optimism, noting the significant progress already made and urging the public to step forward with determination in 2025.
