The Sri Lankan Rupee strengthened against the US Dollar today, recovering after several days of depreciation, according to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.

The Central Bank reported the US Dollar buying rate at Rs. 324.66 and the selling rate at Rs. 335.39, reflecting a notable improvement compared to the previous day’s rates.
On Tuesday, the Dollar’s buying rate stood at Rs. 332.38, while the selling rate was Rs. 342.08, indicating that the Rupee has appreciated significantly against the US currency.
The latest exchange rate movement suggests a positive shift in the foreign exchange market following recent fluctuations, providing some relief to importers and businesses dependent on foreign currency transactions.
