Veteran Sri Lankan singer Mariyasel Gunathilake has passed away at the age of 68, leaving behind a remarkable legacy in the country’s music industry.

She passed away in the early hours of today while receiving treatment at the Kalubowila Teaching Hospital following an illness, according to reports.
