
Sri Lanka’s Minister of Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs, Prof. Hiniduma Sunil Senevi, and Deputy Minister of National Integration, Muneer Mulaffar, recently visited the holy city of Madinah as part of their trip to Saudi Arabia to sign the Hajj Agreement.
During their visit, the Minister explored the International Fair and Museum of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilization, gaining valuable insights into the life of Prophet Muhammad and the development of Islamic civilization in Madinah.
The Minister also visited Quba Mosque; the first mosque ever built in the history of Islam.
M.S.M. Nawas, the Director of the Department of Muslim Religious and Cultural Affairs, accompanied the Minister on the trip.
