Sri Lanka recorded a 19 percent year-on-year increase in exports to Saudi Arabia during the first nine months of 2025 compared to the same period in 2024.
According to Sri Lankan Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Amir Ajwad, the growth was driven by close collaboration among key institutions, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism, the Sri Lanka Export Development Board (EDB), and the Sri Lanka Tea Board, aimed at strengthening trade ties and expanding market access.
