A major Sri Lankan business delegation is set to visit Australia after a gap of more than 15 years.
The 28-member delegation will represent leading companies from Sri Lanka’s logistics, IT-BPO, agriculture and trading sectors.
The delegation will take part in business forums in Sydney from August 17 to 21 and Melbourne from August 24 to 27.
The visit is being organised by the Sri Lanka-Australia-New Zealand Business Council of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce.
Australian business representatives have shown strong interest in meeting the Sri Lankan delegation and exploring new commercial opportunities.
The visit is expected to strengthen bilateral business ties and create new opportunities for trade and investment between Sri Lanka and Australia.
