The 6th Round of Bilateral Political Consultations between Sri Lanka and Thailand will take place on 25th of March , 2025, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Bangkok.
The meeting will be co-chaired by Mrs. Aruni Ranaraja, Secretary of Sri Lanka’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment & Tourism, and Ms. Eksiri Pintaruchi, Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs of Thailand.
Discussions will review progress since the 5th Round held in Colombo in August 2023 and the former Thai Prime Minister’s visit to Sri Lanka in February 2024. As both nations celebrate 70 years of diplomatic relations this year, talks will focus on enhancing cooperation in political engagement, trade, investment, renewable energy, fisheries, agriculture, defense, culture, and tourism.
