
Sri Lanka’s tourism sector continues to grow, with a total of 1,725,494 international visitors arriving in the country so far this year, according to the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority.
In September alone, the island welcomed 158,971 tourists, highlighting ongoing global interest in Sri Lanka as a travel destination.
India remains the largest source of visitors, accounting for 375,292 arrivals to date, while the United Kingdom, Russia, Germany, and China have each contributed more than 100,000 tourists.
