

A total of 145,188 tourists have arrived in Sri Lanka so far in July 2025, according to the latest data released by the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA).

Of these, 27,786 tourists were from India, making up 19.1% of the arrivals. Other key source markets included the United Kingdom with 16,750 visitors, the Netherlands with 10,809, China with 5,904, and France with 7,732 visitors during the month of June.
With the inclusion of the latest figures, total tourist arrivals for 2025 have now reached 1,313,232. India continues to lead with 269,780 visitors, followed by the UK with 124,652, and Russia with 114,644 arrivals, the SLTDA reported.
