
Sri Lanka has been ranked 89th in the latest Human Development Index (HDI), according to the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
The HDI is part of the annual Human Development Report, which assesses and ranks 193 countries based on health, education, and income indicators.
Ireland secured the top position in the index, followed by Norway, Switzerland, Denmark, and Germany.
Sri Lanka’s position reflects its current standing in key areas of human development compared to other nations worldwide.
