Sri Lanka’s new “Ella Odyssey Nanu Oya” train service officially launches today, running between Nanu Oya and Badulla railway station.
The service was introduced in response to high demand from both local and international tourists, according to Railways General Manager Dhammika Jayasundara.
The train will operate daily except on Tuesdays, departing Nanu Oya at 8:10 AM and reaching Badulla.
The return journey will begin at 1:00 PM from Badulla back to Nanu Oya.
This scenic route is expected to enhance tourism in the region, offering passengers a picturesque travel experience.
