A high-level stakeholder discussion was held yesterday, led by Tourism Minister Vijitha Herath, to promote Sri Lanka as a top wedding destination.
Jointly organized by the Sri Lanka Convention Bureau and the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau, the event gathered key representatives from tourism, hospitality, and event industries.
Discussions centered on making Sri Lanka a hassle-free wedding destination while exploring emerging trends and opportunities in tourism.
Minister Herath emphasized the need for collaboration among government institutions, stressing that a united effort is crucial for achieving the government’s vision for the industry. He also pledged ongoing support for investors, tourists, and stakeholders.
