Sri Lanka acknowledged China’s efforts to promote imports from Sri Lanka and appreciated the support provided to Sri Lankan industries such as tea and gems.
China pledged to assist Sri Lankan enterprises in connecting with Chinese import and export associations, participating in expos like the China International Import Expo, and leveraging e-commerce platforms to boost bilateral trade.
Both countries agreed to finalize the FTA to strengthen their economic partnership and facilitate mutually beneficial collaboration in various sectors.
Sri Lanka welcomed increased Chinese investment and assured a conducive environment for businesses, aiming to attract investments that contribute to its economic transformation and sustainable development.
