Sri Lanka and China sign 15 MoUs: Vijitha

Sri Lanka and China signed 15 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) following bilateral talks between the two nations, Foreign Minister Vijitha Herath announced today.

The Minister highlighted that these MoUs hold significant importance for Sri Lanka, focusing on key sectors such as the economy, education, media, and culture.

He expressed confidence that Sri Lanka would greatly benefit from these agreements in the future.

During the discussions, Sri Lanka and China addressed various aspects of their economic, cultural, and political relations.

Minister Herath noted that Chinese President Xi Jinping reaffirmed his continued support for Sri Lanka, further strengthening the longstanding ties between the two countries.
