SLAF training aircraft crashes in Wariyapola

The Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) has confirmed that one of its training aircraft crashed in Wariyapola.

According to SLAF spokesperson Group Captain Eranda Geeganage, both pilots on board ejected safely and landed using parachutes.

No casualties or injuries have been reported.

The aircraft involved in the incident was a K-8 training airplane, commonly used for pilot training by the Sri Lanka Air Force.
