
Workers’ remittances surged to USD 693.3 million in March 2025, showing a notable rise from USD 572.4 million in March 2024 and USD 548.1 million in February 2025.
According to the Central Bank, this marks an 18.1% year-on-year growth in remittances for the first quarter of 2025, with total inflows reaching USD 1,814.4 million, compared to USD 1,536.1 million during the same period last year.
In rupee terms, the inflows for March 2025 amounted to Rs. 205.2 billion, reflecting an 11.9% increase from the previous year.
