The national program to enhance Sri Lanka’s coastline begins at Crow Island Beach Park, Mattakkuliya.

Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya will lead the initiative under the theme “A Beautiful Coast – An Attractive Tourist Destination.”

This long-term project aims to transform and maintain coastal areas across all 14 coastal districts.

It focuses on environmental conservation, tourism promotion, and sustainable development.

Local communities and organizations will collaborate to support the beautification efforts.

The program is expected to boost tourism and improve coastal ecosystems nationwide.
