Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has officially entered the billionaire club, becoming India’s richest entertainer with an estimated fortune of $1.4 billion, according to the Hurun India Rich List 2025.
At 59, Khan has built a net worth of more than 12,490 crore rupees through blockbuster films, global endorsements, production ventures, and his ownership stake in the IPL franchise Kolkata Knight Riders.
This marks the first time a Bollywood actor has joined the billionaire ranks, a milestone achievement for India’s film industry. Reports indicate Khan’s wealth now surpasses several international stars, including American singer Taylor Swift.
Popularly known as the “King of Bollywood,” Khan continues to earn revenue from his production house Red Chillies Entertainment, his long-term brand partnerships, and high-grossing films such as Jawan. Earlier this year, he also won his first National Film Award, adding to a career spanning more than three decades.
Despite his billionaire status, Khan does not feature among India’s top 100 wealthiest individuals, a list dominated by business tycoons Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani.
Khan’s entry into the billionaire club highlights both his enduring influence and the rising global power of Indian cinema.
