Several halted foreign investment projects recommenced – Gov

Government Spokesman Minister Nalinda Jayathissa announced that several international and foreign investment projects that were previously halted have resumed under the new government.

Speaking after assuming duties as the Kalutara District Development Committee chairman, Jayathissa emphasized that discussions are underway to attract further foreign investments, signaling a promising future for Sri Lanka in the coming year.

He noted that foreign diplomats have regained confidence in Sri Lanka, and both foreign and local businesses are showing renewed trust in the country.

Minister Jayathissa also highlighted the recent positive performance of the stock market, which has shown improvement in a short period of time.

He added that the international community recognizes Sri Lanka’s progress toward stabilization.

The Minister concluded that the government has successfully stabilized the nation within just three months of taking office.
