

South Australia Police are investigating after a man was spotted running on the runways at Parafield Airport in Adelaide’s northern suburbs.

Officers were alerted around 3.30 pm on Sunday following reports of a man in dark clothing seen near the runways.
The man reportedly fled into a stormwater drain and has not been located since.
Parafield Airport, mainly used for small aircraft and flight training, was not affected by the incident, and no aircraft were endangered.
Police Special Tasks and Rescue officers, along with fire crews, were deployed to search the area.
