Leader of the Opposition Sajith Premadasa, who is currently on an official visit to India, met with the Indian Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs, Nirmala Sitharaman, in New Delhi yesterday.
During the meeting, Minister Sitharaman commended Sri Lanka’s abundant natural resources and the high calibre of its human talent.
Opposition Leader Premadasa expressed his gratitude for India’s continued support to Sri Lanka, particularly during challenging times.
Premadasa is scheduled to conclude his visit to India on Thursday (6).
