Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa expressed his deep sorrow over the tragic bus accident in Ella, pledging that he and fellow MPs are committed to introducing policies and decisions to minimize such incidents in the future.
In a special statement, Premadasa said, “We are deeply saddened by the fatal vehicle accident that occurred in the Ella area.”
He extended his condolences, praying for the eternal peace of all those who lost their lives in the tragedy, including the Secretary of the Tangalle Municipal Council. He also wished a speedy recovery to all those injured in the accident.
