Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MP Nalin Bandara has expressed doubt that Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa attended a book launch on the Easter Sunday attacks organized by Udaya Gammanpila.
Bandara claimed that images circulating online showing Premadasa at the event may have been generated using artificial intelligence, rather than being authentic. He also made broader allegations regarding the Easter Sunday attacks, suggesting that a powerful individual behind the incident may still be alive.
Additionally, he alleged that individuals linked to those responsible for the attacks were present at the event and accused certain groups of attempting to revive ethnic tensions.
However, Gammanpila has shared photographs on social media that appear to show Premadasa attending the book launch.
