Russia and US launch missile strikes on Ukraine

Russia launched missile strikes on a power plant in Ukraine last night, damaging the electricity supply to the Ukrainian community and an arms depot.

The missile attack, carried out by drones, injured 13 people and caused damage to homes.

This strike occurred just days after the United States suspended military aid and intelligence sharing with Ukraine.

Ukrainian media reports suggest that the US decision to halt access to satellite imagery will limit Ukraine’s ability to gather crucial intelligence.

Meanwhile, European Union leaders have agreed to provide the necessary support to arm Ukraine and strengthen its security.

Discussions between US and Ukrainian officials are scheduled for next week in Saudi Arabia to explore ways to end the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine.
