
Roman Marshavin, who is currently on an official visit to Sri Lanka, has agreed to supply refined fuel to the country following discussions with local authorities.
Ceylon Petroleum Corporation Managing Director Mayura Neththikumara stated that the exact quantity and specific orders will be finalised during further discussions scheduled for March 27.
Meanwhile, Anura Kumara Dissanayake is expected to meet Marshavin this evening at the Presidential Secretariat in Colombo.
According to the President’s Media Division, the talks will focus on strengthening bilateral cooperation in the energy sector, including potential partnerships in fuel supply, enhancing energy security, and fostering long-term collaboration between Sri Lanka and Russia.
