Two men, aged 27 and 21, were arrested last night at the Melbourne Cricket Ground after bringing loaded pistols to the venue during the Carlton vs. Collingwood match.
According to Victoria Police, the men refused to leave the stadium around 8.30pm despite repeated warnings from MCG security over their aggressive behavior.
Officers later apprehended the suspects and discovered a loaded firearm in their possession.
Both men were uninjured, remanded in custody, and are expected to appear in court today.
