The Road Development Authority (RDA) reported a 30% increase in expressway toll revenue from 11th to 13th of April compared to the same period last year.
During these three days, a total of 387,586 vehicles used the expressways, according to R.A.D. Kahatapitiya, Director of the Expressway Operation Maintenance and Management Division.
The RDA earned Rs. 134,498,800 in total revenue over the three days. On 11th of April alone, 163,541 vehicles were recorded, generating Rs. 54,066,450. On 12th of April ,134,195 vehicles used the expressways, contributing Rs. 47,012,350 to the total income. Meanwhile, on April 13, 89,850 vehicles entered the expressways, bringing in Rs. 32,120,000.
