Popular rapper Iraj Weeraratne arrived at the Cyber Crimes Division of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) this morning to give a statement in response to a summons.
He believes the CID has called him in regarding a revelation he made about Sudatta Thilakasiri on his YouTube channel yesterday, 25th of March .
Iraj stated that the information he shared concerned a fraudulent request for money to be donated to the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic.
He also mentioned that the video has been widely viewed by Sri Lankans both locally and internationally.
