Qantas flight lands After pilot suffers chest pain

A Qantas plane made a priority landing at Sydney Airport on Monday morning after the pilot reported experiencing chest pains mid-flight.

The pilot, who requested defibrillators, was later attended to, but they were not used.

The co-pilot took over the controls and requested an expedited landing, informing air traffic control of the emergency.

After the plane touched down safely, the pilot taxied it to the gate before being rushed to the hospital.

Flight QF505, which departed Brisbane with 127 passengers and six crew members, had gone into a holding pattern north of Sydney before landing.
