The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) has assured that there is currently no risk of power cuts in the country.
Speaking to the media, PUCSL Chairman K. P. L. Chandralal stated that the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) has pledged to maintain an uninterrupted electricity supply.
“Taking into account the CEB’s assurance, we do not foresee any power cuts at present,” he said.
